Hi, I'm Cari Smolarczyk—artist, educator, and founder of Work of Heart Studios.

For over 26 years, I have worked in education as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, and art educator. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping children build confidence, develop creativity, and discover their unique strengths.

Work of Heart Studios grew from a dream that began many years ago and first came to life during covid when I transformed my backyard into an outdoor art camp. What started with a handful of young artists has grown into a creative community where children can explore, experiment, and express themselves through art.

I believe everyone can be an artist. My goal is to create a welcoming space where kids feel free to make mistakes, try new things, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life. Through a balance of process-based art and guided instruction, students build artistic skills while developing confidence that extends far beyond the art table.

When I'm not teaching or creating, I'm a proud mom of 16-year-old twins, wife, dog mom to our Cockapoo, and someone who finds inspiration everywhere.
